Meredith Madison, Saturday Volunteer Coordinator

Meredith joined Centre Street in July 2023. On Saturday service days, she works in partnership with staff to make sure volunteers feel welcome and successful.

Meredith is a career human resources professional with skills in employee development and agile leadership for businesses and social services non-profit organizations. She was a contract manager and HR generalist for eight years with the Justice Resource Institute (JRI) in Needham. During COVID she led the Ashland food pantry overseeing volunteers, food acquisition and distribution, client intake and management. After leaving that position, she contracted as an HR professional in both the profit and non-profit sector.  She was seeking an opportunity where she could bring her professional experience and passion for employee development to a nonprofit cause that resonated, and that is why she made the choice to join our organization.

Meredith received a BA in Art History from UMASS Amherst and is a Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management. She is also is a health and wellness advocate who taught Pilates for fourteen years and owned a studio for six years. When not working she enjoys spending time with her partner, her boys, and her three dogs and is an avid runner, hiker, and outdoor enthusiast.
